How do I make an appointment?
You can telephone me on 07775 746354 and leave a message with a contact number and a suitable time for me to phone you back.

How will I know if counselling is suitable for me?
I find that an initial telephone conversation is beneficial, as you can discuss what you would like to get from sessions. This converstation provides important insights into what the counselling process. You can then take some time to think about it and get back to me if you would like to start counselling.
How many session do I need?
That is up to you and we can discuss this to see what would suit you best. Most people find that it is helpful to start with 6 sessions on a weekly basis and then review.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my session?
If you are unable to make a booked session please get in touch as soon as possible, so we can rearrange a different appointment. I ask for 24 hours notice for cancellation, unless there is an emergency it is customary to charge for missed sessions.
What about Confidentiality ?
I work within the Ethical Framework of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am therefore committed to providing a confidential service. There are exceptional circumstances when confidentiality may need to be breached, for example
If I believed there were a risk of harm to yourself or another, breaches are rare occurrences. We will discuss confidentiality in more detail in our first session.
